Young rugby fans can join in the game in Titchfield Common on May 19.

Locks Heath Pumas Rugby Club will be holding a children’s touch rugby day at the Abshot Community Centre.

The day is open to boys and girls, aged seven to 12 years, and all games being refereed by players from the club.

There will be refreshments available throughout the day as well a barbecue and the Sovereign Bar will be open for the adults.

Club stalwart John Dodd is hoping for another good turn out this year.

He said: “The Locks Heath Pumas kids touch rugby day is a good family event and an excellent opportunity to get children interested in a new sport while encouraging general fitness. Also, the children get the chance to run rings around the parents afterwards in a kids v parents game!”

The event is from mid-day to 3.30pm.

For more information contact organiser John Dodd on 07970 182894 or email john.dodd@maine-finance.co.uk.
