A meeting has been planned for Titchfield villagers to share concerns on changes to the Post Office.
Villagers will discuss proposals to refurbish the branch in the One Stop shop with store staff on January 22.
The Post Office, located at the back of the store, currently has two security-screened counters, but in the revamp will have one open-plan till on the retail counter in the main shop with a weighing machine.
If the plans go ahead, the refurbishment will take place during February and the shop will be closed for four days during the time.
The new-look Post Office would then open for longer - from Mondays to Sundays from 6am to 10pm. The current opening times are Mondays to Fridays from 9am to 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm
Some customers are concerned about the changes in services, such as not being able to send parcels internationally or make payments by cheque, and the potential lack of privacy and confidentiality
They will discuss the issues at the meeting at St Peter’s Church at 7pm on January 22.
